Another useful option is to search directly on Google for phrases such as \u201capartments for rent in Villa Morra\u201d or \u201crent in Asunci\u00f3n downtown area\u201d, which can lead you to results from local real estate agencies or private owners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\ud83d\udca1 <em>Local tip:<\/em> In addition to negotiating the price if the owner sees that you are solvent, it never hurts to make a complete review of the apartment before signing. It is key to check details such as water pressure, if there is hot water, the condition and operation of the sockets, and if the place has a cut-off system in case of electrical overload. It is also essential to check that the contract is in order and signed by both parties, preferably with a copy for each one.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"%C2%BFDonde_vivir_en_Paraguay_Barrios_y_ciudades_recomendadas\"><\/span>Where to live in Paraguay? They are residential neighborhoods where you can find something more economical without being far from the center.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Las Mercedes and Saxony<\/strong>For those who want to be closer to the center and like a more classic or historic feel.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><strong>Outside Asunci\u00f3n:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>Luque and Fernando de la Mora<\/strong>: dormitory towns with good connections by public transport. There are quiet neighborhoods and lower prices than in the capital.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Lambar\u00e9<\/strong>very popular with families. It has green areas, schools and is ideal if you want something more relaxed without going so far away.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u2728 <em>My advice as a local<\/em>Visit the neighborhood before deciding. As a local recommendation, it is always a good idea to ask the owner or the real estate agency for the latest bills, to have a real reference of the consumption and to make sure that <strong>no outstanding debts from previous tenants<\/strong>.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Water and common expenses (in buildings):<\/strong> This usually includes cleaning of common areas, maintenance of elevators, security guards, etc. In some cases they are included in the rental price, but this is not a rule. If they are not covered, the <strong>expenses can add up to an additional Gs. 500,000 to 700,000 per month.<\/strong> (about <strong>65 to 88 USD<\/strong>, approximately). <\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>Internet:<\/strong> It is generally the tenant's responsibility.
